• Through our Accuro EMR, where all patient information is securely stored and managed for clinical use.

Cortico securely transmits the information you provide directly into our Accuro EMR system through an encrypted, HIPAA- and PIPA-compliant connection.

Your personal information is used solely for purposes related to your care and clinic operations, including:

• Scheduling and confirming appointments.

• Managing and updating your medical records.

• Communicating test results and follow-up recommendations.

• Coordinating care with your referring or family physician (with your consent).

• Administrative purposes such as billing, insurance, or quality assurance.

We will never sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing or commercial purposes.

We use Accuro EMR, a secure, Canadian-hosted medical records platform that meets all PIPA and HIPAA-equivalent data protection requirements.
Data from our website and Cortico platform is transmitted via secure, encrypted connections (SSL/TLS) and stored on servers located in Canada.

Access to your records is restricted to authorized Richmond Heart Care personnel involved in your care, and all staff are trained in privacy and confidentiality protocols.

 

5. Cookies and Analytics

Our website may use cookies and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to monitor general site usage and improve user experience. These tools collect non-identifiable information such as browser type and time spent on pages. You can disable cookies through your browser settings at any time.
